We are delighted to announce that our CEO Maureen Forrest was recently awarded the 2017 Asadharan Award, Honouring Unsung Heroes in Kolkata. The award was presented by the Honorable Governor of West Bengal.
Corporate giving at Christmas really makes a difference. The incredible story of Specsavers in Kolkata this year is a glowing testament to CSR in action and the engagement of such a wonderful group of people with communities who needed their health and expertise.
We are delighted to announce that our London Lunch, kindly sponsored by Galliard Homes, will take place on February 8th in the magnificent surroundings of The Ned, one of the city’s most spectacular heritage hotels.

The annual Santa Splash for The Hope Foundation took place on Sunday 10th December on Garretstown Beach! Huge thanks to everyone who took part and thanks to Provision for the lovely photos. We’re shivering just looking at them!
Legendary Irish footballer Robbie Keane was a very special visitor to Ashirbad Boys home in Kolkata recently. Robbie played soccer and signed jerseys for the boys, showing great compassion for the children who are helped by HOPE.
We were delighted to have visited the village Ghoramara Island through our CSR partnership with VERDE LED who have a mission to improve the quality of life of the poorest families living in the Sundarbans region of India by providing free lighting to those in darkness.
