Green Saffron’s Hope Day at Mahon Point Farmer’s Market

Green Saffron's Hope Day at Mahon Point Farmer's Market

The market runs 10am – 3pm every Thursday at Mahon Point Shopping Centre.

Green Saffron has had a stall on the market since the beginning and has watched as the market flourished to become one of the most popular in Ireland. Green Saffron sells a variety of the finest quality whole spices, spice blends, curry sauces and hot food. We have a proud association with The Hope Foundation: all profits from our Kolkata Chaap spice blend are donated and we recently sponsored their new book, Anglo Indian Recipes and Remedies.

On Thursday 1st June The Hope Foundation will be attending the market with Green Saffron to raise awareness for their cause. Green Saffron has a guest hot curry every month, and on Thursday it will be the Kolkata Chaap.

Susan and Pauline from The Hope Foundation will be selling their book as well as the Kolkata Chaap spice blend from a pop up stand next to the main Green Saffron stall. They’ll have balloons for the kids and a pop up banner to draw attention. It will hopefully be a great opportunity for The Hope Foundation to introduce themselves to a crowd of new people.

Thursday 1st is the first Mahon market after World Hunger Day on 28th May.
