Immerse yourself in the trip of a lifetime to Kolkata, India, where you will visit HOPE’s projects and experience the authentic and rich cultural heritage of the ‘City of Joy’.
As part of a small group of supporters, you will be warmly welcomed by HOPE’s team on the ground in Kolkata. You will have the opportunity to visit many HOPE projects, meet children benefitting from our programs, and see first-hand how your support – and the funds you have raised – create positive change in the lives of street-connected children and give them the chance of a brighter future.
During your week in Kolkata there will also be a chance to explore the cultural and historical highlights of India’s cultural capital.
HOPE’s Ashirbad Residential Childcare for boys aged 6-18 years of age, provides vital protection, education, healthcare, and vocational training for 40 vulnerable boys.
HOPE cares for these children in a loving, caring, and safe environment in which they can learn and grow into independent, successful and happy young adults.
It has always been HOPE’s priority to restore children to their families, where possible and appropriate. We strive to prepare families to take responsibility for their children through strengthened interventions to improve the social and economic situation of a child’s home before restoration. Where home environments do not exist, or the family cannot be traced, the children are referred for adoption.
