We are delighted to announce that Bridget O’Brien has been appointed as HOPE USA’s Fundraising and Events Officer. HOPE USA offers her a warm welcome to our team.
Bridget, who is New York City based, will be responsible for raising awareness as well as funds in the United States for The Hope Foundation. We are confident that her extensive experience and passion for HOPE’s work will greatly enhance and support our efforts in Kolkata.
Bridget is a graduate of Fordham University, holding a B.A. in Sociology and Master’s Degrees in Education and Public Media. She is the founder and CEO of Bridget O'Brien PR and Events - a NYC based press agency. Her firm has been recognized with awards by Rising Stars Magazine and the Irish Echo, and she also received the IED Award for Excellence in Media. Bridget has appeared as a media expert on national networks, including ABC News, Fox News, CNN, Oxygen, The AP, WE and local media, including Good Day New York, PIX11 News, The Westchester Journal, News 12 Westchester, and Centanni Radio. Bridget is a proud Board Member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Irish Business Organization, the NY Rose of Tralee and the Irish American Young Leaders. She is also the Director of Media and Public Relations for the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade.
