Due to all your generous donations more than 8,500 families have received supplies and managed to stay in quarantine to stop the spread of the virus. That is approximately 40,000 people who would otherwise have nothing to eat.

This week the city of Kolkata has been placed in lockdown for 21 days. Because of this, all our projects in the slums and working with street communities have been temporarily placed on hold because of the governments directive. The HOPE hospital and our protection homes are fully operating at present and will continue to do so.

Obviously there is a lot of information about the pandemic out there but we thought it would be useful to have our own dedicated tracker with a special focus on the US and India. The statistics are updated every 10 minutes and are from Johns Hopkins University.
