Together, we will visit the streets and slums of Kolkata, one of the poorest cities on Earth, to connect with children and adults whose lives have been changed by acts of service and their own resilient spirits. Your personal perspective will be changed profoundly as a result.

Bear witness to the extraordinary vision of Maureen Forest, an Irish woman who set out to create “a world in which no child suffers” over 20 years ago by founding The Hope Foundation. Meet children who have received housing, clothing, food, job skills training, healthcare and an education at HOPE’s facilities. Hear directly from adults in the slum and street-affiliated communities who have developed job skills and overcome addiction with HOPE assistance, and received life-saving medical care from HOPE Hospital.

Their triumphs will bring you a deeper understanding of life’s possibilities.

Build bonds with our passionate group of volunteers – all U.S. business leaders – over shared meals, work with HOPE staff and program participants, a writing session with 2x New York Times bestselling author MeiMei Fox, a visual storytelling session with USC Film School director/author Kiran Ramchandran, and deep reflection/connection sessions hosted by Greg Zlevor, an internationally respected facilitator. We’ll dive deep into how we can apply what we’ve learned to creating fuller, more compassionate lives back home.
