The Child Watch program focuses on enhancing the protection and development of street-connected children, increasing their literacy level, reducing cases of vulnerable children on the streets and reducing addiction. These will be implemented by building strong bonds between communities and education, protection and healthcare systems.
We aim to raise a total of $10,000 which will cover the costs of a coordinator and two social workers to carry out the project activities. The money raised will directly benefit 1,058 children and 456 families.
Through HOPE, you can sponsor a vulnerable child in Kolkata, and make a positive and lasting difference to their future, and to their future of their family.
Your donation of just $300 per year, only $25 per month, will ensure that child’s education, while also providing for their healthcare and nutrition needs. If you decide child sponsorship is right for you, HOPE will assign a particular child to you, and will update you on their education progress and send you reports, letters, and artwork from the child.
